Billy Pierce

Hi! I'm a joint Ph.D. candidate at the Annenberg School for Communication (exp. '31) and incoming J.D. candidate at Stanford Law School (exp. '30), studying platforms, political economy, and democracy.

I'm affiliated with the Center for Media, Technology, and Democracy, the Media Inequality & Change Center, the Center for Information Networks and Democracy, and the Computational Social Science Lab.

Prior to joining Annenberg I graduated from UC Berkeley with a B.S. in Business Administration (Highest Honors, Summa Cum Laude equivalent) and a B.S. in Electrical Engineering & Computer Sciences (High Honors, Magna Cum Laude equivalent).
